The central theme of this profile of Tablo is slender contours and low horizontal eye lines. We examine the visible contours and placement of the features in seven steps, starting with the overall face shape and ending with how its lines and surfaces fit together.

Step 1: Face Shape — The Outline of the Cheeks and Jaw

It has an oval shape that tapers from the cheek to the chin. The sideways gaze and head angle emphasize one side of the outline.

In this composition, the border from one cheek to the chin is clearly revealed rather than the width of both sides of the face. By connecting the outer line of the cheekbones and the bending point of the chin, you can distinguish between the width of the face and the depth of the sides.

Step 2: Forehead — Between the Hairline and Brows

The lowered bangs cover most of the forehead and hairline. Only a small margin beneath the bangs is revealed.

The end line of the bangs creates a new border on the upper part of the face. By distinguishing between the exposed space above the eyebrows and the space covered by the hair, you can avoid confusing the size of the forehead itself with the blank space created by the hairstyle.

Step 3: Eyes — Eyelid Curves and Horizontal Length

The eyes are horizontally long and the gaze is directed to the side. The border of the upper eyelid is visible under the stage lights.

The shape of the eye can be better revealed by dividing it into the horizontal length and vertical opening. The curve of the upper eyelid, the lower border, and the area that tapers to the corner of the eye combine to form a single outline.

Step 4: Eyebrows — The Lines Above the Eyes

The eyebrows below the bangs are set low. It is difficult to compare the size of the entire arch because some parts are obscured.

The visible eyebrow pieces were not drawn to form the full eyebrow shape. If you look at the direction of the confirmed line and the gap between the eyes, you can distinguish between the border of hair or props and the actual eyebrows.

Step 5: Nose — The Central Line and Depth

The bridge of the nose is straight and the tip of the nose is round. The blue stage lights change the light and dark side of the nose.

The tip of the nose and both nostrils are areas where small curved surfaces are gathered. If you look at the widening border on both sides instead of just looking at the bright side in the center, you can see the width that changes from the bridge of the nose to the bottom of the nose.

Step 6: Mouth and Chin — Expression and the Lower Face

Lips and Mouth Corners

Open your mouth slightly and see your upper teeth. The upper lip is thin, leaving a rounded area in the center of the lower lip.

Jawline and Chin

The jawline is narrow and the tip is round. A small shadow under the chin separates the face from the neck.

When the mouth opens or the corners of the mouth rise, the width of the mouth and the space left up to the chin also change. If you look at the raised position of the cheeks and the tip of the chin together rather than just the lips, you can see the process by which a smile changes the ratio of the lower jaw.

Step 7: Overall Balance — Slender Contours and Low Horizontal Eye Lines

In Tablo's stage photo, the long eyes beneath the bangs are connected to the tapering lower face. The blue lighting changes the shadow next to the nose, but the large outline that narrows from the cheek to the chin and the horizontal line of the mouth can be seen separately.

Tablo's Facial Features at a Glance

  • Face shape: Oval, tapering from cheek to chin.
  • Eyes: The eyes are long horizontally and the gaze is directed to the side.
  • Chin: The jaw line is narrow and the tip is round.

Together, these features show how the face's outer contour relates to the eyes and lower face. Looking at the connections between lines and surfaces helps explain the overall balance visible in this photograph.
