The central theme of this profile of Park Han-byul is a long rounded face and defined eyes. We examine the visible contours and placement of the features in seven steps, starting with the overall face shape and ending with how its lines and surfaces fit together.
Step 1: Face Shape — The Outline of the Cheeks and Jaw
It is a long oval shape that leaves some width around the cheekbones and gently narrows to the chin.
Even within the large oval frame, the width of the cheekbones and chin are not the same. If you follow the speed from the widest part of the face down to the tip of the chin, you can see changes in the outline that are not revealed by length alone.
Step 2: Forehead — Between the Hairline and Brows
The center of the forehead is revealed between the long parted hair.
You should look at the shape of the exposed part of the forehead and the hair on both sides. Since the parting and bangs are the lines that divide the upper margin, there is no need to immediately interpret the asymmetry seen in the photo as asymmetry of the forehead itself.
Step 3: Eyes — Eyelid Curves and Horizontal Length

The eyes open round and extend outwards.
The shape of the eye can be better revealed by dividing it into the horizontal length and vertical opening. The curve of the upper eyelid, the lower border, and the area that tapers to the corner of the eye combine to form a single outline.
Step 4: Eyebrows — The Lines Above the Eyes
The eyebrows are dark and have a low arch, creating a line above the eyes.
The low eyebrows can be compared side by side with the horizontal line of the eyes. Looking at where the eyebrows start and end and how thin they become at the ends reveals the relationship between the two overlapping lines at the top.
Step 5: Nose — The Central Line and Depth
The bridge of the nose is thin and the tip of the nose is small and round. The vertical line in the center is clear.
The long bridge of the nose creates a central line that extends from between the eyes to above the lips. Comparing the narrow width of the bridge of the nose and the rounded surface of the tip, the parts that appear as lines and the parts that appear as surfaces can be distinguished within the same nose.
Step 6: Mouth and Chin — Expression and the Lower Face
Lips and Mouth Corners
The upper and lower curves of the closed lips are clear, and the lower lip is thick.
Jawline and Chin
The jawline is smoothly narrowed to create a round chin.
In a closed mouth, the curve in the center of the upper lip and the curved surface of the lower lip can be examined separately. Comparing the horizontal width of the lips to the width of the tip of the chin reveals how small lines and large outlines are placed within the lower face.
Step 7: Overall Balance — A Long Rounded Face and Defined Eyes
Within the long, round outline of Park Han-byul, the round upper line of the eye is visible. The thick lower lip and round chin also leave a curved surface at the bottom, creating round shapes of different sizes within the long face.
