The central theme of this profile of Pak Se-ri is a rounded lower face and a wide smile. We examine the visible contours and placement of the features in seven steps, starting with the overall face shape and ending with how its lines and surfaces fit together.

Step 1: Face Shape — The Outline of the Cheeks and Jaw

Round width remains on the cheeks and lower jaw, and the tip of the chin is finished wide.

When looking at horizontal width, you can divide it into the width of the cheekbone height and the width of the lower jaw height. Whether the wide side of the cheek extends to the lower face or suddenly decreases at the chin is a criterion for distinguishing the shape of the outline.

Step 2: Forehead — Between the Hairline and Brows

The golf hat covers the forehead and hairline, obscuring the entire shape.

In this composition, the border of the upper face is not the hairline, but the edge of the hat. Therefore, the height or width of the entire forehead cannot be determined just by looking at the space above the eyebrows, and can be examined by focusing on the area exposed under the hat.

Step 3: Eyes — Eyelid Curves and Horizontal Length

When smiling, the eyes narrow and facial expression lines appear around the corners of the eyes.

In photos with facial expressions, the vertical width of the eyes and the height of the cheeks below the eyes change. If you look at the curve of the lower eyelid rather than just looking at one point at the corner of the eye, you can read the movement of the center of the face more specifically.

Step 4: Eyebrows — The Lines Above the Eyes

The shadow of the hat covers the eyebrows, making it difficult to distinguish their overall thickness and arch.

The visible eyebrow pieces were not drawn to form the full eyebrow shape. If you look at the direction of the confirmed line and the gap between the eyes, you can distinguish between the border of hair or props and the actual eyebrows.

Step 5: Nose — The Central Line and Depth

The round tip and nasal tip are revealed below the bridge of the nose.

The tip of the nose and both nostrils are areas where small curved surfaces are gathered. If you look at the widening border on both sides instead of just looking at the bright side in the center, you can see the width that changes from the bridge of the nose to the bottom of the nose.

Step 6: Mouth and Chin — Expression and the Lower Face

Lips and Mouth Corners

A smile that exposes the upper teeth widens the width of the mouth.

Jawline and Chin

The lower jaw is wide and round and continues uninterrupted with the curved surface of the cheek.

When the mouth opens or the corners of the mouth rise, the width of the mouth and the space left up to the chin also change. If you look at the raised position of the cheeks and the tip of the chin together rather than just the lips, you can see the process by which a smile changes the ratio of the lower jaw.

Step 7: Overall Balance — A Rounded Lower Face and a Wide Smile

Pak Se-ri's smile draws the cheeks upward between a widened mouth and narrowed eyes. If you look at the wide, round lower face instead of the forehead covered by the hat, a clear curve and change in expression are revealed in this photo.
