The central theme of this profile of Lee Kwang-soo is an open forehead and a long central line. We examine the visible contours and placement of the features in seven steps, starting with the overall face shape and ending with how its lines and surfaces fit together.
Step 1: Face Shape — The Outline of the Cheeks and Jaw
It is a long oval whose length stands out more than the width of the cheek. The lower jaw is brought together small.
Even within the large oval frame, the width of the cheekbones and chin are not the same. If you follow the speed from the widest part of the face down to the tip of the chin, you can see changes in the outline that are not revealed by length alone.
Step 2: Forehead — Between the Hairline and Brows
Flip your hair over to reveal your wide forehead and hairline. A single strand of hair falls in the center.
In compositions where the forehead is exposed, you can see a wide area extending from the hairline to the eyebrows. Comparing the direction of the upper curve and the lower eyebrows makes it clear what lines surround the upper part of the face.
Step 3: Eyes — Eyelid Curves and Horizontal Length

The eyes are horizontally long and the line of the upper eyelid is relatively clear.
The shape of the eye can be better revealed by dividing it into the horizontal length and vertical opening. The curve of the upper eyelid, the lower border, and the area that tapers to the corner of the eye combine to form a single outline.
Step 4: Eyebrows — The Lines Above the Eyes
The eyebrows are thin and long, with a gentle arch on the outside.
Eyebrows can be examined by distinguishing between the density of color and the curve of the line. By comparing the inner thickness and the direction of the outer edge with the eyelid line, you can see how the outline surrounding the eye is formed.
Step 5: Nose — The Central Line and Depth
The bridge of the nose is long and the rounded side of the tip of the nose is placed in the center.
The long bridge of the nose creates a central line that extends from between the eyes to above the lips. Comparing the narrow width of the bridge of the nose and the rounded surface of the tip, the parts that appear as lines and the parts that appear as surfaces can be distinguished within the same nose.
Step 6: Mouth and Chin — Expression and the Lower Face
Lips and Mouth Corners
The curve of the upper lip and the thick lower lip are visible. Both ends of the closed mouth rise.
Jawline and Chin
A narrow inferior canal leads to a round chin tip. The vertical flow of the long face is maintained up to the chin.
In a closed mouth, the curve in the center of the upper lip and the curved surface of the lower lip can be examined separately. Comparing the horizontal width of the lips to the width of the tip of the chin reveals how small lines and large outlines are placed within the lower face.
Step 7: Overall Balance — An Open Forehead and a Long Central Line
Lee Kwang-soo's face emphasizes the vertical ratio with a long nose and lower face. If you look at the horizontal lines of the eyebrows and eyes together, you can see how the upper and lower parts are divided within the long outline.
