The central theme of this profile of Jennie is rounded cheeks and long eyes. We examine the visible contours and placement of the features in seven steps, starting with the overall face shape and ending with how its lines and surfaces fit together.

Step 1: Face Shape — The Outline of the Cheeks and Jaw

The round width of the cheeks contrasts with the small tip of the chin. The curved surface of the middle face stands out compared to the vertical length.

Even within the large oval frame, the width of the cheekbones and chin are not the same. If you follow the speed from the widest part of the face down to the tip of the chin, you can see changes in the outline that are not revealed by length alone.

Step 2: Forehead — Between the Hairline and Brows

The center of the forehead and the hairline on one side are revealed between the hair swept to the side.

You should look at the shape of the exposed part of the forehead and the hair on both sides. Since the parting and bangs are the lines that divide the upper margin, there is no need to immediately interpret the asymmetry seen in the photo as asymmetry of the forehead itself.

Step 3: Eyes — Eyelid Curves and Horizontal Length

The eyes are horizontally long and narrow on the outside. Makeup above and below the eyes emphasizes the boundaries.

The shape of the eye can be better revealed by dividing it into the horizontal length and vertical opening. The curve of the upper eyelid, the lower border, and the area that tapers to the corner of the eye combine to form a single outline.

Step 4: Eyebrows — The Lines Above the Eyes

The eyebrows are long and relatively straight, tapering at the end.

The low eyebrows can be compared side by side with the horizontal line of the eyes. Looking at where the eyebrows start and end and how thin they become at the ends reveals the relationship between the two overlapping lines at the top.

Step 5: Nose — The Central Line and Depth

The bridge of the nose is narrow and the tip is round. Create a small vertical line from the center of the face.

The long bridge of the nose creates a central line that extends from between the eyes to above the lips. Comparing the narrow width of the bridge of the nose and the rounded surface of the tip, the parts that appear as lines and the parts that appear as surfaces can be distinguished within the same nose.

Step 6: Mouth and Chin — Expression and the Lower Face

Lips and Mouth Corners

The upper and lower lips have volume, and the upper teeth are visible through the slightly open mouth.

Jawline and Chin

Below the cheeks, the jawline narrows rapidly, leading to a small chin.

When the mouth opens or the corners of the mouth rise, the width of the mouth and the space left up to the chin also change. If you look at the raised position of the cheeks and the tip of the chin together rather than just the lips, you can see the process by which a smile changes the ratio of the lower jaw.

Step 7: Overall Balance — Rounded Cheeks and Long Eyes

Jennie's round cheeks and small chin create a difference in the width of the top and bottom. Since the long eyes and voluminous lips are placed within it, the area around the eyes can be divided into the curved outline and the lines around the eyes.

Jennie's Facial Features at a Glance

  • Face shape: The roundness of the cheeks contrasts with the small tip of the chin.
  • Eyes: The eyes are horizontally long and narrow on the outside.
  • Chin: The jaw line narrows quickly below the cheeks, leading to a small chin.

Together, these features show how the face's outer contour relates to the eyes and lower face. Looking at the connections between lines and surfaces helps explain the overall balance visible in this photograph.
