The central theme of this profile of Hong Hyun Hee is a rounded face and low brows. We examine the visible contours and placement of the features in seven steps, starting with the overall face shape and ending with how its lines and surfaces fit together.
Step 1: Face Shape — The Outline of the Cheeks and Jaw
There is round volume in the cheeks and chin, and width remains in the lower part of the body.
Even within the large oval frame, the width of the cheekbones and chin are not the same. If you follow the speed from the widest part of the face down to the tip of the chin, you can see changes in the outline that are not revealed by length alone.
Step 2: Forehead — Between the Hairline and Brows
The hat hides the hairline, but exposes the forehead above the eyebrows.
In this composition, the border of the upper face is not the hairline, but the edge of the hat. Therefore, the height or width of the entire forehead cannot be determined just by looking at the space above the eyebrows, and can be examined by focusing on the area exposed under the hat.
Step 3: Eyes — Eyelid Curves and Horizontal Length

The eyes extend horizontally and appear relatively low vertically.
The shape of the eye can be better revealed by dividing it into the horizontal length and vertical opening. The curve of the upper eyelid, the lower border, and the area that tapers to the corner of the eye combine to form a single outline.
Step 4: Eyebrows — The Lines Above the Eyes
The eyebrows are placed above the eyes in a low, gentle line.
The low eyebrows can be compared side by side with the horizontal line of the eyes. Looking at where the eyebrows start and end and how thin they become at the ends reveals the relationship between the two overlapping lines at the top.
Step 5: Nose — The Central Line and Depth
The tip of the nose is round and the width of the nostrils is visible from the front.
The tip of the nose and both nostrils are areas where small curved surfaces are gathered. If you look at the widening border on both sides instead of just looking at the bright side in the center, you can see the width that changes from the bridge of the nose to the bottom of the nose.
Step 6: Mouth and Chin — Expression and the Lower Face
Lips and Mouth Corners
Part of the mouth is visible next to the microphone. The center of the lips are a little thick.
Jawline and Chin
The lower jaw is wide and round, connecting with the curve of the cheek.
The mouth in this scene is influenced by both vocalization and props. Only by examining the visible line of the lips and the outline of the chin can you distinguish the shape at the moment of mouth movement from the usual stationary shape.
Step 7: Overall Balance — A Rounded Face and Low Brows
In Hong Hyun Hee's photo, the center of the face visible between the hat and microphone becomes the scope of observation. If you look at the low eyebrows, long eye line, and wide lower jaw together, the horizontal direction within the round outline is revealed.
