The central theme of this profile of Cho Seung-woo is low brows and a gently curved jaw. We examine the visible contours and placement of the features in seven steps, starting with the overall face shape and ending with how its lines and surfaces fit together.
Step 1: Face Shape — The Outline of the Cheeks and Jaw
It is an outline that maintains the width of the cheeks but gradually narrows at the chin. Subtle angles remain along the lower jaw within the long oval shape.
The angled part does not mean that the entire face is square, but it means that the section where the direction of the curve changes is visible. If you follow the line that goes down from the side of the cheekbones to the lower jaw, the difference between the straight section and the round section is revealed.
Step 2: Forehead — Between the Hairline and Brows
The center of the forehead is exposed vertically between the partings. The bangs on both sides cover the outline of the forehead.
You should look at the shape of the exposed part of the forehead and the hair on both sides. Since the parting and bangs are the lines that divide the upper margin, there is no need to immediately interpret the asymmetry seen in the photo as asymmetry of the forehead itself.
Step 3: Eyes — Eyelid Curves and Horizontal Length

The vertical width of the eyes is not large and the horizontal lines are long. A soft curve is visible on the lower eyelid.
The shape of the eye can be better revealed by dividing it into the horizontal length and vertical opening. The curve of the upper eyelid, the lower border, and the area that tapers to the corner of the eye combine to form a single outline.
Step 4: Eyebrows — The Lines Above the Eyes
The eyebrows are low and relatively straight. The bend at the end of the eyebrows is not large, so the line above the eyes continues neatly.
The low eyebrows can be compared side by side with the horizontal line of the eyes. Looking at where the eyebrows start and end and how thin they become at the ends reveals the relationship between the two overlapping lines at the top.
Step 5: Nose — The Central Line and Depth
The bridge of the nose falls straight from the center of the face, and the tip of the nose is round. The nostrils are naturally connected to the tip of the nose.
The tip of the nose and both nostrils are areas where small curved surfaces are gathered. If you look at the widening border on both sides instead of just looking at the bright side in the center, you can see the width that changes from the bridge of the nose to the bottom of the nose.
Step 6: Mouth and Chin — Expression and the Lower Face
Lips and Mouth Corners
The upper lip of a closed mouth is thin, and the center of the lower lip is slightly thicker. The corners of the mouth rise slightly.
Jawline and Chin
The tip of the chin is round, but not excessively narrow. Both sides of the jaw create a gentle border at the bottom of the face.
In a closed mouth, the curve in the center of the upper lip and the curved surface of the lower lip can be examined separately. Comparing the horizontal width of the lips to the width of the tip of the chin reveals how small lines and large outlines are placed within the lower face.
Step 7: Overall Balance — Low Brows and a Gently Curved Jaw
Cho Seung-woo's low eyebrows and long eyes look like two close horizontal lines. Below the straight nose, there is a round but wide chin, making it difficult to describe the face as simply a pointed oval.
Cho Seung-woo's Facial Features at a Glance
- Face shape: A contour that maintains the width of the cheeks but gradually narrows at the chin.
- Eyes: The vertical width of the eyes is not large and the horizontal lines are long.
- Chin: The tip of the chin is round but not excessively narrow.
Together, these features show how the face's outer contour relates to the eyes and lower face. Looking at the connections between lines and surfaces helps explain the overall balance visible in this photograph.
